Manas Shukla

Hello there and welcome to my website!

 

I am a May 2016 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently working as a Research Assistant in the Real-Time and Embedded Systems Lab (mLab) at Penn. With a focus on Autonomous Systems and Numerical Modeling, I'm actively seeking a Full-Time work opportunity.

 

Prior to starting with my graduate degree, I attained my Bachelors' from VIT University in India and worked in the aerospace domain in India as well as in the United Kingdom (UK) for a little over 2 years. With my academic coursework and research & professional experiences, I have been able to acquire myself with essential skill-sets to succeed in a cutting edge environment. My work has made me proficient in Mechanical and Product Design, Design Automation, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

 

Being a curious engineer and a technology enthusiast, I have acquired my skill-sets in the domains of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Controls as well and the following pages elaborate on the various projects that I have worked on (or currently working on!).

 

I am passionate about working in areas dealing with design, computational modeling, and development of numerical simulation techniques. I am looking for an opportunity that would be closely related to above-mentioned areas of engineering. My personal interests include backpacking, photography and playing the violin.
